We charge £200 + £10 per person for the Annual First Aid Refresher Course, there are no minimum numbers required. The course size could be from 2 staff to 12 staff.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recommends that all first aiders - both Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work complete an annual half-day refresher course. This is to help maintain their basic skills and keep up-to-date with any changes to first-aid procedures.

Course Outline:

Candidates will practise and be assessed on the skills needed to administer first aid to a casualty who is:

  • unconscious
  • Not breathing
  • Choking
  • Bleeding from a wound
  • Shock.

This is a half day course which lasts for three hours. There is no final assessment the tutor assessors all the delegates during the course.

This is not a qualifying course. It refreshes the memory for those who have already sat on the Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work OR HSE-approved First Aid at Work.
